Slow Day Fishing the Upper Potomac

Pat O�toole and I got on the river at 6 am Friday, July 20 and found the catching a bit slow. We did manage to get two smallmouth at 16 inches, weighing 2lb. 4 oz. Both came on a large black and red skirted buzz bait. The rain got us off the water at noon. We fished out of Dargan and ran down to Dam 3 at Harpers Ferry with only a few bites there. Slow day.
