Red Drum on the Severn

This puppy red drum was caught and released on 7/30/2012 from the shore near Round Bay on Severn.

Have you seen many of these caught this far up the bay ?

DNR Response: Young red drum are frequently found far up rivers and as far north in the Bay as the Bay Bridge. Red drum, like most members of the drum family, spawn in shelf waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
