Cold Front Rockfish

The recent cold weather seemed to turn on the bite for rockfish in the mid bay. The fish have been feeding on the juvenile menhaden aka 'peanut bunker' and spot that recently showed up in the mid bay. These fish were among a dozen that we caught and released during an evening of fishing, the largest measured 32", pictured with me is Zack Hoisington.
