Slow Fishing on the Upper Potomac

What a difference a week can make. Pat O�toole landed a few quality smallmouth this week above Dam 4, but the bass numbers were way down. No buzz bait bite to speak of and not much on the drop shot. Pat�s tiny baits yielded a load of bluegills with the occasional smallie jumping on board. So, very similar conditions with substantially different results. That is fishing.
