Took the kayak out at Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge on Friday after it finally stopped storming. Caught a ton of little croakers in about the 5 to 6 inch range, some white perch about the same size, and a few spotwhich I used for live lining. As I was reeling the one spot back to the kayak a big blue chomped the spot in halffunny thing is, I had the spot rigged with a stinger hook through its tail hoping to catch a blue for the smokerthe blue bit from the bottom up taking the spot's mid section out and missed both hooks.amazed and disappointed at the same time. Great place to fish though! Lots of Osprey and some Eagles down there also! Here are a few pics of the fish I caught and also of the storm clouds that rolled through while I was crabbing.
