Hybrid Sunfish

I found a pond while scouting stand sites for deer season and came back later to fish it. I found these really aggressive sunfish, they ate everything, sometimes bass baits 2x there size. Most of them were real small but I got a bunch of medium ones too. I also got two monsters 8 and 9 inchs here is a pic of the 9 incher and a pick of one of the smaller ones. I don�t know exactly what type of sunfish they are they look like a cross between blugill and redbreast, they have a large mouth for there size. I think they might be green sunfish any help with id will be great thanks.

DNR Resonse: The sunfish are hybrids (most likely a green sunfish X bluegill cross). That particular hybrid is known for its aggressive nature and are often stocked into ponds to provide an easy fish for kids to catch.
