Catfish Love Shrimp

Channel catfishing was stellar this weekend on the Susquehanna River. I caught loads of healthy c-cats between Port Deposit and Perryville hugging the Cecil side in about 25' of water. We used shrimp and sometimes had fish on before getting bait to the bottom. This photo was about the medium size, most were smaller and a few were larger. Water temps were about 86 F and really clean. We could see these fish coming up from about 6' under.
