Puppy Drum and White Perch

Thomas Point Park, Annapolis, MD, Sunday August 19. The day was cloudy with a slight breeze and intermittent light rain. I caught these scrappy fat perch and a puppy drum from the Fishing Creek side of the Thomas Point Park. They were hitting in about 15 to 25 feet from the edge of the rocks. I was using a Mepps Beetle Spin with a curly tail and a Slab Daddy Jig which the Puppy Drum pounced on. The Drum was about fourteen inches long and was released unharmed. I really enjoy catching these fish on micro tackle� you can feel every ounce when they hit a lure� FUN!
