Frustrated with the Abundance of Red Drum

Type: Tidal
Region: Eastern
Location: Little Choptank, Slaughter Creek, Fishing Bay, Honga River

I am absolutely frustrated and discouraged with fishing this year due to the infestation of red drum. I fish consistently 5-7 days a week, from boats and the banks, everywhere around Dorchester county. Little Choptank, Slaughter Creek, Fishing Bay, Honga River, even some of the larger ditches on the side if the road, and no matter where I go there are more undersized red drum than every other type of fish combined. I catch honestly around 40 fish every evening and 30 of those are 7"-17" red drum. Very rarely do you catch a legal sized one. Hopefully next year they will either be gone or the size and creel limit will change so we can actually catch a fish that's legal to keep and eat.
