Surf Fishing at Assateague

Location: Assateague Island, surf fishing ocean side. Just north of the beach area.

I had a beautiful day at Assateague Island, I surf fished there with my father and caught a 13'' bluefish on a whole thawed-out finger mullet. Caught plenty of small spot with fish bites and a small croaker. I used some spot as cut bait, but with no luck. Only bad part of the day was the intense onslaught of horse flies! Almost covered from the knee down in flies. Stayed in the water to get away from them.
