Fort Howard Red Drum

I caught this beautiful red drum fish in Fort Howard Park in Edgemere, Baltimore County on August 31, 2012. It was a nice cloudy day, and there were few people on the pier, so it was not so crowded. I was using a live crab peeler as my bait, cutting it into small pieces. I had been casting so many times and caught a few striped bass on my hook (not legal size) and released them back into the water. I spent 3 hours on a pier casting my rod and retrieving my weights until the last cut of my bait, then suddenly there was resistance. I felt a pull on the other end of my string and landed a 16 inches red drum fish, which was release back to water unharmed.
