Puffer Fish In The Bay

Location: Cove Point Lighthouse

I caught a puffer fish off of Cove Point Lighthouse on Sunday, Sept. 2nd I didn't know that the Chesapeake had puffer fish. Is this unusual?

DNR Response: Puffer fish are occasionally caught in the lower bay during dry years, they are mainly a marine/coastal fish.
