Lower Bay Striper

Type: Chesapeake
Region: Lower Bay
Location: East of marker 77

We took the last week columns advice; my son, Scuba being home from college, and I spent a couple of days of the Thanksgiving break on the water. On 11/23 we spent the day trolling. We trolled east-west across the bay and marked many schools between 25 and 40 ft depth. We only had one bite, 28 inches, which became a little eventful for the two of us when landing as 2 rigs became tangled. It was caught on an umbrella rig and a parachute with 9 chartreuse shad. The striper only had one small shrimp in his stomach. The striper was Sundays dinner. We were also out earlier on 11/21 jigging and using live eels in the cedar point area with no luck.
