First Trout of the Season

Type: Nontidal
Region: Central
Location: Upper Patuxent where it crosses over Route 94

It was an overcast day and around 50 degrees and the first time I had been fishing this season. When the spinners weren't working, I decided to throw on a trout patterned floating Rapala and this beautiful trout hit it on the first cast. A successful catch and release was performed which makes it that much better!
