I fished the Potomac the last 2 Saturdays. I was fishing for Crappie in Pohick and up river in a few creeks. We did pretty well but the muddy water has hampered our catch lately. We had a bunch of dinks and 2 fish just under 2 pounds on the 16th. We did run into a super nice guy from Maryland. He was fishing in a camouflage boat with a camouflage motor. He was sitting just inside the mouth of Little Hunting Creek, 50 yards past the bridge, and was tearing up the Blue Cats. He was using live bait, maybe White Perch or another secret bait like Black Salties. He fishes here a lot and is always willing to give any information out, especially on how to catch a 50 pound catfish. I always enjoy exchanging information with other anglers. Tight Lines!
