Friday, April 12 was a good day fishing out of Dargan. I started fishing just down river from the ramp along the MD side. Initially I threw a few different baits to see what was working. I finally settled on the 3 inch Berkeley Gulp Minnow(Smelt). From that time the action was good for a few hours. Twenty five Smallies, one Largemouth, one Catfish and one Chub were landed. Two Smallies were 15 and 17.5 ", the Largemouth was 13'. Most fish were oriented to the shoreline. The water temp ranged from 58 to 60 degrees.
