Rocky Gorge, July 6 & 8

Largemouth bass fishing at Rocky Gorge improved with the recent sweltering weather. On July 6th and 8th I fished deep primarily using live crayfish and deep diving crankbaits (Rapala DT-16). This is a good 1-2 combination � the deep crank covers lots of water and catches active fish while the live crayfish teases inactive/neutral fish into biting. Attached are photos of two 20-21� bass as well as my 2010 personal best, a 23�x16�, 5lb 11oz lunker. All fish were released.
