42 Inch Rockfish

Hello, this evening was our second day out this year fishing for rockfish. We caught this 42 inch beauty, sorry no weight, but it was too heavy for my wife to pick up so no picture of her. We released the fish after a short fight, so no harm done. We were between Thomas Point and Bloody point in about 115 feet of water, trolling parachutes and umbrellas at about 15-25 (I think). This is our second year of serious fishing, so with A LOT of help and advice from neighbors we are starting to see some results.
