Rocky Gorge Bass Action

Type: Nontidal
Region: Central
Location: Rocky Gorge Reservoir

Here are a few bass I caught this weekend from my canoe at Rocky Gorge Reservoir. Conditions were very nice both days, a bit cold in the morning but warming up very nicely in the afternoon. All of these fish were caught (and released) in various coves, no bites on the main part of the Reservoir. The two small ones weighted 1.3 and 1.4 lbs and were caught on a texas rigged, pumpkin colored senko plastic worm using my spinning rod. The larger one weighed 3.11 lbs and was caught using a drop shot rigged with a pumpkin colored, shaky worm on my baitcaster. The big one was on a bed and putting that drop shot right in front of it immediately did the trick, it almost felt like cheatingALMOST.
