Susquehanna Flatheads

I was fishing on the susky on April 30 and ran into a couple of nice flatheads, this one was 36" and 22 lbs. I was wondering if you knew about how long they been around for and in the shocking that you guys do, what are the biggest ones that have turned up? I've hooked some huge ones that would push 35-40 lbs but have had no luck in landing them so far always break the line.
