I caught and released these two fish midday on 5/8/13 at Rocky Gorge Reservoir. The weather called for pop up thunderstorms but it turned out to be a beautiful morning/day with almost no wind. One fish was 2.25 lbs and the other was 3.75 lbs; the big one had a nice belly on it! They were caught off a primary point leading into one of the coves. I saw some fish as I was canoeing and decided to target the area. The bass were right off the bank relating to some rock piles and stumps on the bottom. I stayed in that area for a couple of hours and caught 4 nice fish and 2 smaller ones. I slow twitched (emphasis on slow) both a purple and pumpkin colored plastic stick bait, texas rigged, along the bottom. They were all reaction strikes that occurred after I let the worm sit and then twitched it, I was able to see the strikes on two occasions.
