We were out last week , Thursday evening, and got a nice smallie above Dargan. It hit a black buzz bait around 8:30. My friend, Pat Otoole and I fish each week, usually on Friday. We have been questioning the absence of sunfish this year. One of our favorite baits is the small senko on a 1/8 or 1/16 jig head. This gives us plenty of action and we seem to get just as many keeper bass. Last year we caught 30 to 50 sunfish a day and this year 3 or 5 seems to be all we can get. Tomorrow we will fish Later. Last July 24 we caught 53 sunfish. WE shall see how it goes Today (Friday).
