Baby Rockfish at Watersedge

This memorial day weekend I caught a baby rockfish in my castnet. It made me a bit sad due to how small it was. This was an accidental catch hip deep at Watersedge Park in Dundalk. It was released unharmed. I can't say the same for the large 5 inch shiner that I caught. It was put on a float rig and only the head came back.
