First & Second Fish Ever Caught

My 8 year old niece Shanti caught her first ever fish last Saturday (June 1st) at the Bass Pro/Piney Run Youth Panfish Derby. Unfortunately, all she caught were Largemouth Bass which were not part of the panfish derby. Her first fish was a nice little bass and her second was even bigger. Both were caught on nightcrawlers fished using advice from Bass Pro manager John Bell (shown in the first photo) and from his associate Jerry. Of course both bass were immediately returned unharmed to the lake. Many thanks to Bass Pro, DNR, the Piney Run staff and the Carroll County Commissioners.
