Scott Taylor from Annapolis reports fast action in the mornings near the mouth of Eastern Bay on topwater plugs and flies. One neat trick is to tie a small Lefty's Deceiver to the hook of a conventional plug. Cast it out and drag it back in jerks. The splashy commotion from the plug will get the stripers' attention, and they will come up to grab the trailing fly. Great fun!
