Nothing Like Fishing With Dad

When I was a kid my dad would take me fishing at our local pond in Northern New Jersey. I don't remember catching much more than a minnow or two on our bobber rigs, but spending quality time together was what really mattered. Nowadays I return the favor by taking him out to Loch Raven, as we did on Wednesday June 5th.

At 90 years he can still reel 'em in! In the photo he's proudly displaying both the Bass and the AT&T Companies tee shirt for which he worked his whole life. We caught some nice hand-sized Bluegills, Pumpkinseeds and Yellow Perch for dinner that night. A satisfying meal courtesy of a great day on the water with Dad!
