I took the canoe out to Rocky Gorge today, arriving around 8:00. I headed upriver to the vicinity of the 29 bridge and the water temperature was varying between 53-55 degrees. I only ended up with one fish today, but it was my largest from the Gorge thus far. I've attached two photos of the striped bass. The fish was weighed in at Brighton Dam and came in at 24 lbs. 2 oz., was 38" in length, and had a 24" girth. It was caught on a minnow on 8-lb test.
