The last three weeks I released lots of 4lb Largemouth, a 5lb 2oz and a 6lb by powerfishing mid-depth weed beds. My experience is that various large, obnoxious lures work - bring your favorite - then keep moving until you get on active fish. Its 'swinging for the fences' 5lber or nothing-style fishing so keep at it and just don't tell your friends how often you get skunked. It works for me!
