I caught these 2.5 pounders on June 21 and 22, 2013 at Rocky Gorge Reservoir. The first one was caught in the evening in Scott's Cove and was 17.25" in length. I was fishing a purple senko, Texas rigged along some bottom structure just off the banks. The second bass was caught in the morning on a Texas rigged, zoom horny toad in watermelon red pearl on the main part of the reservoir near some laydowns. I had great success casting it to overhanging tree limbs and swimming it back to the canoe. I'm definitely getting more bass to bite on swimming lures (eg: spinnerbaits, swim frog) rather than having to rely solely on dead sticking techniques.
