Smallmouth Biting

Good morning. Had a chance to hit a local stream over the weekend with my daughter. Water was back up a bit (thankfully) from recent thunderstorms but not too muddied. Smallmouth were stacked in the deep holes. Anything that resembled a crawfish did the trick. Most were in the 8 to 11 inch range, but she managed to land 7 that were 12 inches plus! All on light tackle � what a fight. Great way to stay cool on a hot day and land some very nice fish.
