Striped Bass Program biologists were out on charter boats last Thursday tagging the second round of fish for the Diamond Jim fishing contest. Fishing was great and around 200 fish were tagged and released with the help of many youth anglers and their families!
While youre out there looking for Diamond Jim, help our project by submitting data from your fishing trips using our volunteer angler survey (http://www.dnr.maryland.gov/fisheries/survey/index.asp). This survey helps us characterize the recreational striped bass harvest year round and is important in our management of striped bass. We appreciate your help in collecting this data!
