Oh r-eel-lly??

Location: North East River

I caught this on a shiner in the North East. (Behind the museum) It was 2 feet long, 3" wide, 4" head. 6" girth. I have never seen an American Eel this big.

DNR Response: Male eels can grow up to 2 feet long, while females grow to 3-5 feet long.
