Uncle Joe Stripes Again

When asked, �Hey Uncle Joe, when are you going to take my dad and me out fishing?� The reply was, �Since I just purchased a pair of life vests for guys your size, today is that day! Get your mom�s permission and be on your dock with your father at 12 noon sharp. I�ll swing by in the boat and pick the two of you up.�

With twin engines at wide open throttle, it was a short cruise to Podickory Point, Joe�s favorite fishing spot this time of year. Armed with 4 new 6 ft. medium action fishing rods, purchased at Anglers Sports Center pre rigged and ready for rock, a chum bucket and a few bags of fresh Alewives it took less than 15 minutes to lure the stripers to the boat. Before 2 hours passed five keepers were in the cooler, the largest measuring 32 inches. The second largest, a sweet 29 incher belonging to 7 year old Lawson Cates of Annapolis who was all too eager to hold the Striper up for a photo shot to text back home to mom.
