Croakers on the Chesapeake

We were fishing from the shore at the NE corner of NAS Pax River in Lexington Park. Using light-medium action rods and two hook bottom rigs baited with shrimp, we were fishing for croaker and caught a bunch, but only kept half. It seemed one of us always had a fish on the two - three hours we were out there. My two sons had a blast! The last catch of the night, my son caught his first striper. It was barely legal, and put it back. It will be that much bigger next year!
