Had a successful fishing trip this past weekend in Ocean City. Over 40 flounder were caught using minnows, minnows and squid, Gulp!, flathead bucktails, and peanut bunker. I caught two flounder that were 18 7/8 both on minnows. A 27 inch rockfish slammed my flounder rigged with a peanut bunker. If the rod was not in the rod holder the rockfish would have just taken the rod over the railing when it slammed the rig. These three fish and the beautiful weather made the trip all worth while. All the fish were released healthy back for another lucky angler to catch. I was mainly fishing the second street bulkhead and fished all the different tides. I also managed to get some crabbing in on the 125 street pier. Kept some keepers for some crab soup and released over 75 small crabs using chicken necks and cut fish. What a weekend trip seeing all the boats coming in the last day of the White Marlin Open.
