Last week I went to tag Diamond Jim with my friend, Justen. We had so much fun fishing. At first the fish were not biting but then, the fish started biting all the lines we couldn't keep up with them. We were tagging so many rockfish. After a while we got a big bite and me and my friend had to bring it in together. We had a huge rockfish on our fishing rod. It was 29 inches, a big keeper. We caught a lot of rockfish and tagged them all and had fun. The captain of the boat Patience, Captain Tom Ireland was so nice. He showed us how to read a fish finder and to know when the fish were coming close. The biologist that was tagging the fish was very nice too. His name is Jeff. He told us all about rockfish and about the water we were fishing in. He let us help him, even my Mom helped him record the measurements of the rockfish. We all had so much fun. Thank you for a wonderful time.
