After a couple rain delays, fish were actively biting spinners, topwater poppers and rapalas across the rapids and in holes around the grass. Great time of year to fish the Potomac for smallmouth, caught dozens of smaller fish and five or six of the size pictured below. Plenty of big Bluegills too, overall an amazing day on the river.
