Croakers

Kurt Johnsen and I (pictured), both of Lebanon, PA, spend the entire daylight hours on Saturday fishing along the eastern edge of the Tolchester Channel around buoy 14.

The only action we had ALL day was this 14� croaker on a white rattle jig on the bottom with a 4oz sinker. We usually have good luck jigging with my 9� surf rods horizontally out the side of my 19� cuddy, letting the pitch and roll provide the action. But this all let turned up that day.

It is good to see croakers around again, but it would have been nice to get a rockfish on the line� maybe next time.
