My 91-year old father and I fished off Matapeake Pier all day on Tuesday August 20th. We caught the usual undersized Spots, Bluefish, croaker and even one sad skinny flounder. As sundown approached and I was packing up the gear, Dad said "Just put on a couple more chunks for one last try at a big one." Seconds later, as if on cue, this torpedo bent the rod to reward Dad with his first ever keeper-sized Bluefish, a nice 15 incher.
