What Did I Catch?

Type: Chesapeake
Region: Middle Bay
Location: Flag Harbor Marina

I headed out on my kayak this afternoon to try a little bottom fishing for croaker and Spot. But upon leaving Flag Harbor Marina, I was greeted with large eruptions right on the surface of the water. Violent at times the eruptions would often cover 20 or 30 sq ft of water. I decided to cast into them and see what I could get. I ended up catching a couple of Bluefish. (one picture included) I also caught this one (picture number two). I thought it was a Bluefish at first but I've never seen a Bluefish with specks. Help if you can.
