Variety in Calvert Beach

Hello again from Calvert Beach on the western side of the Bay. Labor Day I took the opportunity to head on the kayak once again to see what I could catch. I was using shrimp right along the rocks for most of the time, but I did drift out about a hundred yards past the mouth of Flag Harbor. Specifically I was out bottom fishing, hoping to bring home a nice croaker or two. Unfortunately everything I caught was under the limit. But I did have a nice variety of fish, including a White Perch, croaker, a small flounder and handful of Spot and even a small Black Sea Bass. (My first one caught this year.)
