Lost Lake Algae

Since the storm in May flooded Lost lake in Patapsco it has not been the same. Is it safe to eat fish out of here? What is this stuff?

DNR Response: It looks like it could be filamentous algae; pretty common in small ponds this time of the year. It is a dead alage, if it's not filamentous, it is something similar.
