I am a regular visitor to the DNR angler log and I noticed the cutlass fish caught in the Patuxent River on August 6th of this year. I was shocked as my husband Danny Tolley pulled up his line today while we were fishing and there was a cutlass fish attached. We were fishing at Bentley's in the Honga River in about 34 ft of water. We caught the fish on peeler crab and we were on top of an oyster shell pile. I agree with the gentleman who posted his fish that the silver color was the brightest I have ever seen in these waters. We have been fishing for over 40 years and this is the first time we have ever caught a fish like this.
