I took the kayak out around 5 am out of Havre de Grace. I paddled north on the Susquehanna and saw a bunch of breaking fish just outside of the edge of the Milfoil. There were some nice fish jumping. I threw pretty much everything I had in my tackle box at them. Top water, suspending baits, spoons, plastics....and got nothing! Even threw some flies off of my 9 weight fly rod. Couldn't figure it out. Around 8:30 am I caught a 13 1/2 inch channel cat, and a small white perch.
