Just a note to let everyone know that there is still a sufficient amount of ice, 7 to 10 inches, in many north central Maryland lakes and ponds and the ice fishing has been good. Bluegills, bass and Yellow Berch at nearby Lake Marburg in York County , PA. are the staples. Small jigging Rapalas and Kastmaster spoons in 1/12th and 1/8 ounce tipped with maggots or meal worms are getting the fish about one foot off the bottom. With warming weather predicted, watch for deteriorating ice and use caution. Here are a few recent pics�
