Nathan took advantage of the break in cold temperatures to get out and do some fishing today. We went to Kings Landing State Park around 12:30 pm at low tide and fished from the pier. We were using fresh shrimp on a basic bottom rig with double hooks. Nathan caught two nice size channel cats and a couple of smaller ones. Great first day of fishing for the season. Nathan can't wait for the trout stockings to begin and the opening day of rockfish season. Today took care of the itch for now.
