A Crappie Kind of Day

Hello from southern MD

With the temperature just getting into the lower 50's this morning I decided to head to one of my favorite spots to try a little fishing. I sure am glad I did since I caught a little of a dozen crappie and a couple of nice largemouths as well. I was using a small jig with a variety of color grub style soft plastics. Now we just have to get some consistently warmer weather so I can take my youngest son out as well.

Ps: I brought the net to try and get some of the litter around the water's edge.
