Caught My First Fish of the Season

I tried again today, 4/10/2014 for the first fish of the season and that was exactly what I got. I caught one very nice Chain Pickerel which annihilated a Rapala Countdown, perch colored one of the smaller sizes, either 8 or 6. I had a couple more pickerel chase it all the way boatside but didn't strike. Caught him along the rocky flats of the lake on the southeast side between the shore and the sunken islands around the golf course. Other fishermen were having no luck at all, water still a little chilly only in the 40s.
