I went fishing on 4/13 at the Loch Raven Reservoir, with the hope of bringing in my first fish of the season. I arrived around nine o'clock, rented a boat and got to work. Around one o'clock the fish started biting. My friend hooked a pickerel on a spinner bait but was unable to land it. I ended up landing a pickerel that was around 12'' and a largemouth around 15''. Both fish were caught on a Texas rig with plastic worms and safely released. All and all I'd say it was a good start to the season. Fish on!
