Variety on the Bay

Type: Chesapeake
Region: Lower Bay
Location: North End of Tangier Sound

Launched out of Mt. Vernon and headed out to Tangier Sound, fished the north end of Tangier Sound (near Nanticoke and Wicomico rivers).
A little afternoon fishing after work, myself and a friend and his girlfriend. We were hoping for some big stripers but again, no luck.
What a beautiful day, almost no wind, glass flat water conditions and an incoming tide. Fishing from my 19ft CC anchored by a hole.
We dunked bloodworms and nightcrawlers on bottom rigs with varied results. Between us we caught 1 throwback striper (~14"), 2 fair sized croaker (11" & 13"), 1 good sized Blue Catfish (~18") and 11 White Perch that we kept (most 9-11").
